Sydney, Australia – September 12, 2024 – Ecolab is proud to announce the official opening of its new Polydadmac Reactor at the Darra manufacturing site in Australia. This investment underscores Ecolab’s commitment to people and planet health.

Polydadmac is a critical product used to clarify drinking water and treat wastewater from various industries, including mining. The new reactor, supported by the Australian Federal Government, addresses the critical shortages experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic and ensures a stable supply of clean drinking water for the Australian public.

The facility was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local Councillor Sarah Hutton who commented: “The new Polydadmac Reactor is a shining example of locally designed, made, and employed expertise. The collaboration with Brisbane Tank Manufacturing and the dedication of the Ecolab team have resulted in a facility that will greatly benefit our community. It’s wonderful to see such innovation and commitment to local manufacturing right here in Darra.

“I was honoured to be part of unveiling our new Polydadmac Reactor, a testament to local innovation and sustainability.”
